We are located in Huntsville, Alabama in the Oakwood Shopping Plaza on Oakwood Avenue, just West of North Parkway (near the Oakwood and Pulaski Pike intersection).  If you have been looking for somewhere to enjoy Old-Fashioned Home Cooking – Soul Food and Comfort Food – you have come to the right place!  After you’ve tasted our food, you’re gonna’ want to peek in our open kitchen to see if your Grandma is back there stirring the pots!  Come see us!

All our foods are Homemade daily from Fresh Ingredients.  Several of our items such as the Fried Catfish and Hamburger Patti are prepared AFTER YOU ORDER to ensure the best quality we can provide.  We are NOT a fast-food joint and the brief wait will be worth it when your food arrives hot and delicious.  At G’s we aren’t back in the kitchen opening cans – we are standing over a hot stove (so you won’t have to) cooking up mouth-watering dishes for your enjoyment!  You will never be served food that has been sitting under a heat lamp for a couple of hours!

We offer Southern Favorites such as Fried Chicken, Catfish, Pork Chops, Pot Roast, Hamburger Patties, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chicken Fingers, Various Sandwiches, Fried Green Tomatoes and Cornbread.  In addition, we serve Macaroni & Cheese, REAL Mashed Potatoes, Turnip Greens, Collard Greens and various other Sides.  Enjoy a glass of freshly-prepared Iced Tea or our Homemade Lemonade, a cup of Freshly-Brewed Coffee or your favorite Coke® product.

Be sure to save room for one of our delicious Desserts – Red Velvet Cake, Banana Pudding, Pound Cake or Sweet Potato Pie.
